A key component of the Nicheware Solutions software development process is the use of a
project-specific intranet site.
All projects will have their own intranet established. This becomes an essential vehicle for
project communications - both for developers on the project and for clients to be
able to track project process and the current artefacts.
Using the Nicheware
Siteskin technology, much of the project site is automatically generated
and all documentation cross-linked, providing both HTML, PDF (and where required RTF) access
to information including:
- project plans, project calendar and dashboard
- business requirements, use cases
- solution architecture, business component interfaces, component designs
- test reports, component-based javadoc
