software ■  Componentware ■  MDAware ■  Siteskin ■  Frameworks siteskin Siteskin uses a combination of XML and a pipeline of XSLT transformations to enable both technical documentation and dynamic web site pages to be displayed in a range of output formats with selectable look and feels, with no changes to the source data. Siteskin is used to generate the project intranet, producing integrated HTML for all plans, designs, diagrams and code, along with PDF documents for selected formal project documentation. Siteskin is also used in producing web-based applications. It allows business components to provide standardised web-page components, that are then converted to the particular look and feel for the project application. Siteskin currently supports: Output formats Generation of HTML, JSP, PDF and RTF. Specialist input Siteskin support input documents and high level syntax for project plans, business requirements, use case descriptions, solutions architecture documents, UML design documents, component Javadoc, calendars, dynamic web reports, web input forms, and standard web page navigation. Look and Feel The look and feel is selected at build time, and is independent of the source XML document or web pages. This allows a new look and feel to be designed at any time in the project life cycle and be incorporated with no changes to business components.
